Besiegement

A planet trapped between Mars and Saturn by degree, receiving harsh influence from both malefics and creating constraint.

What is Besiegement?

Besiegement occurs when a planet is sandwiched between the two traditional malefics—Mars and Saturn—by zodiacal degree, regardless of sign boundaries. The besieged planet receives the difficult influence of both malefics simultaneously: Saturn's restriction and delay from one side, Mars's aggression and conflict from the other. This creates a sense of being trapped or pressured in the areas signified by the besieged planet. Besiegement by benefics (Jupiter and Venus) produces the opposite—exceptional support.

How TriAstra Uses Besiegement

TriAstra checks for malefic besiegement as a Red Flag indicator and benefic besiegement as a Jackpot indicator in natal chart analysis.

What Besiegement Means for You
