What is Gasaek-Gyeok (Follow Earth)?
Gasaek-Gyeok is the Earth-dominant Jong-Gyeok pattern, named after the agricultural metaphor of planting and harvesting. When Earth reaches extreme dominance (80%+ of chart weight) and other elements lack root support, the chart 'follows Earth.' This often occurs in charts with multiple Earth stems (Mu, Gi) and Earth branches (Chuk, Jin, Mi, Sul). The resulting chart emphasizes stability, trustworthiness, and accumulation.
