Peregrine Planet

A planet with no essential dignity—not in its domicile, exaltation, triplicity, term, or face—wandering without special strength.

What is Peregrine Planet?

A peregrine planet holds none of the five essential dignities in its current position: it is not in its domicile, exaltation, triplicity, term (bounds), or face (decan). The word comes from the Latin 'peregrinus' meaning foreigner or wanderer. Without dignity, the planet lacks inherent authority and must rely entirely on accidental dignities (house placement, aspects) for effectiveness. Peregrine planets can feel lost or unfocused but also unbound by convention.

How TriAstra Uses Peregrine Planet

TriAstra calculates essential dignity scores for all planets, identifying peregrine planets as having neutral rather than strengthened or weakened status in chart analysis.
