What is Saju Conflicts (Disruptive Interactions)?
Saju conflicts are not a single category; each type creates a different texture of stress. Chung (clash) is the direct 180° opposition of branches — sudden change, upheaval, uprooting. Hyeong (punishment) is a three-way or self-punishment interaction that wears down over time through self-inflicted friction. Hae (harm) is a subtle breaking of rhythm between branches, producing small persistent irritations. Pa (destruction) is a destabilizing relationship that undoes what has been built. Wonjin is a psychological friction between specific branch pairs — mutual resentment without direct confrontation. Gongmang (voidness) empties a branch of its full expression — what the pillar represents feels unrealized. A practitioner reads conflicts as a family because they combine: a single chart can carry Chung, Hyeong, and Gongmang simultaneously, each activating in different Daeun or Seun cycles.
