Wealth Vault (Jaego Storage)

In Saju, four Earthly Branches at the end of each season act as storage vaults for hidden elements: Jin (Dragon) stores Water, Sul (Dog) stores Fire, Chuk (Ox) stores Metal, and Mi (Sheep) stores Wood. Which of these acts as your wealth vault depends on your Day Master, because Wealth is always the element your Day Master controls: Fire DM → Metal Wealth → Chuk vault; Earth DM → Water Wealth → Jin vault; Metal DM → Wood Wealth → Mi vault; Water DM → Fire Wealth → Sul vault. A Wood Day Master is the special case — Wealth is Earth, and all four vault branches are themselves Earth, so practitioners read the Jin–Sul axis holistically rather than isolating one vault. A chart with strong Wealth elements but no vault branches struggles to retain earnings — money flows in and out. A chart with vault branches, especially activated during luck cycles, tends to accumulate savings and assets. Wealth stored in vaults is not quick income but slow, compounding, reliable wealth.
